I have been hearing a lot lately about the whole building a mosque on the sight of Ground Zero controversy. While the summer has flown by, this issue has been repeatedly in the news. I definitely feel that these folks that want to build on Ground Zero have a right to their religion. I feel that if they are here in this country legally they should have the right to all the freedoms that we as Americans enjoy. I just feel that the placement of the Mosque on what is essentially sacred ground for The United States is inappropriate and this cannot take place.
I am interested to hear what the readers of this blog think. Please respond with your feelings....lets make this one interactive.

You are so right...there is the right to religious freedom. And...LEGALLY...we have that right to practice what we choose to practice...but...there should be a certain amount of tact! I think it's offensive to build a mosque on that particular piece of land. Furthermore, why did the president (I know it SHOULD have a capitol "P", but he hasn't earned it) get involved??? Isn't it up to the city council?
