I have come to a realization

I have come to a momentous realization.  I know when I started this blog I said it was going to be every day for a year.  I have gotten 24 days into it and now realize the errors of my ways.  From this day forward there is no longer a daily blog guarantee.  I will continue to blog as often as I have something to blog about and as long as I have the time.  Many times, this MAY BE every day.  Some days it may not be every day.  I think it will add a certain air of excitement to checking for a blog.  Id still love to get all the comments and all the followers that are possible as whenever I do blog, it ll be boring if nobody is commenting or following.
Also since this is now an at will blog for me, no more daily numbers....the pressure is off me!!!

Thanks for reading.

Day 23

So I hear that this radical nut bag in Florida who wanted to get some attention for his used car dealership so he said he was gonna burn the Koran on 9/11 , has backed down and said he is not going to do it.  My idiot friend, you don't have to now!!!!! Every news service has reported this story and beaten it like a dead horse.  I'm sure that  MANY copy cat radical nut bags will more than have the burning of the Koran covered all over America.  All the guy in Florida did was ensure that this was going to be made into news that is seen all over the world.  And the sad part is that it is gonna anger radical Muslims and probably endanger our troops over seas if not citizens in this country.  It seems that radical thinking is dangerous on EITHER side of the political aisle....hmmmm who'd have thunk it????

Never Forget!!!!!!  Enough said.

Day 22

So Tom Brady of the Patriots was involved in a serious car accident this morning.  A person in the car that he collided with was seriously injured.  Tom is fine.  This is good news for the Patriots granted.  But my mind was boggled when the first thing that the news reporters wanted to talk about was how this will affect how Tom plays football on Sunday.  Who Cares!!!!!!! There are human lives in the balance, there is an elderly man in the hospital in serious condition, and all the sports numb skulls want to know is can Brady throw!!! Have some decency Boston media.

Mongo Madness tonight was a blast.  Thank you to Tracy Lynn for producing the show and to Insinr8 and John Hughes of Cohenfest for coming in .  Support your local bands.  There is a lot of good talent out there on Cape Cod.  Music makes life good.  Check it out

Day twenty

So it was in the news today that those miners who are tragically trapped a mile or so underground in Chili are making some requests of things to help pass the time until they can be rescued.  One of the things these men whose lives are in extreme danger are asking for is.....wait for it.......Adult magazines.  I have to say that I don't get that.  First of all a group of sweaty dirty men in a hole underground in very cramped quarters does not seem like the ideal place for privacy.  Reading adult magazines in a group setting is wrong in a number of different levels.  And if I were trapped in such a predicament, I think porn might possibly be the last thing I would have on my mind.  And then you need to think about the wives of these men that are awaiting their safe escape from the mine.  Now these poor women who have been through so much have to KILL their husbands on their return home for reading porn.  These men really need to rethink this request.

Join me Thursday at 4 for Mongo Madness only on The Capes Alternative WKKL 90.7 fm.  The Cape Cod rock band Insinr8 will be in studio with me to play some acoustic.  And you will also have your chance to win a pair of tickets to COHENFEST on September 18 in North Falmouth.

Day Ninteen

So today is Labor day and the summer is officially over.  Tomorrow school bells ring for both my son and wife ( she is a teacher.)

As we celebrated Labor day today, I am interested to see who knows the meaning and significance of Labor day.  What exactly are we celebrating?  I have to be honest, I had to google search it and make sure I knew.  I didn't. Post your responses and lets see who knows more than I did.

Don't forget Insinr8 Thursday on the Mongo Madness show exclusively on the Capes Home of Alternative rock 90.7 fm WKKL.

Hit the link if you are out of the area
