Day fifteen

So the cape is gonna be paid a visit by hurricane Earl in the next 24 hours or so.  This is all that we have been hearing about for days now.  A lot of folks are making last minute arrangements to leave the cape early and even some of the locals  that live on the coast are planning to be elsewhere.  Yet even though we have all this advance notice, there is still a certain percentage of folks that say they are gonna stay and "ride out" the storm.  Whenever there is a natural disaster pending, there is always a certain percentage of the population that ignores the warnings and stays.  To The people of Cape Cod I say this.  If this storm does get nasty and the authorities say get out.....GET OUT!!!!!!!  If you don't  then your fate is in your own hands.  When you are swimming  through your neighborhood just before you go under don't come bitching to us.  Have we not learned from other hurricanes????????
