Today is September 11, 9 years ago today Islamic terrorists slammed hijacked planes into the Twin Towers , The Pentagon, and a field in Shanks ville Pennsylvania Killing thousands on Americans. Every day in every way let us never forget these atrocious acts of violence. I feat that too many already have.

Rick I remember vividly that year. I was praying I didn't go into labor with Sammy as I didn't want his birthday to be on a day of mourning. I also remember sitting in the hospital that following weekend holding my little bundle of joy watching as the farmer whose parents fields I used to sled down as a child buried their son out of the church I had grown up attending right next to that same field. Every time I went to mom and dad's house in Dracut I passed by the monument of that man, a local farmer who helped and aided many people and gave of his own land and mentored immigrant farmers so that they were able to support themselves and grow their own food and the same man who piloted and flew AA flight 11. May everyone take a minute today and say a prayer for everyone who lost their lives and gave of themselves on that day.
